HOW IT WORKS
Each month, the school will select up to
6 students that most exhibit that month's
character trait. Those students will receive:
Their picture on the Island Adventure
Recognition Board
A Be Good, Do Good, For Good certificate
Kona Ice swag consisting of Kona Ice sunglasses, shoe charms, bracelet, key chain, flavor cup &FREE Kona Ice that month!

WHY IT MATTERS!
PBIS helps students grow into confident, kind, and responsible individuals.
By weaving these lessons into something fun and memorable, Adventure Island teaches kids that: “Good character is the greatest treasure of all.”
Build Lifelong Character
Learning traits like gratitude, teamwork, and initiative helps students grow into kind, responsible, and confident individuals. These qualities go beyond the classroom — they shape how children treat others, solve problems, and lead throughout life.

PBIS gives everyone a shared language for positive behavior. When students understand and practice these traits together, it creates a more respectful, encouraging, and inclusive school environment — where kindness and effort are celebrated.

​By focusing on what students can do right, rather than just what not to do, PBIS empowers kids to take ownership of their actions. They learn that being proactive, respectful, and helpful makes them (and their school) stronger.

The Adventure Island journey turns abstract ideas into hands-on experiences. Students don’t just hear about good character, they live it through fun activities, teamwork, & monthly celebrations that make every lesson stick.
Does your school qualify?
You must have the following to be eligible for this FREE program:
One monthly school Kona Day, September through May.
Use Kona Ice exclusively for all after school functions.
School day Kona Days are fundraisers for the school. We will sell to the student population during a designated time period & the school will receive a fundraising giveback:
Monday- 35% of sales
Tuesday- 34% of sales
Wednesday & Thursday- 32% of sales
Friday- 30% of sales
2nd Kona Day of the month- 40% of sales
All after school events- 30% of sales
